Brushed off

Help-Others

I reach out a hand

a finger towards hope

only to find it dashed away

the lady behind the desk

I had pinned such expectation on

the light extinguished

in two spoken sentences

a slip of green paper

and her turning her back.

Regurgitated words heard so many times

the same things I’ve heard

since I was a child

exercise, it will help

think positive, it will help

talk to work, it will help

it will help

  1. Oh darling, I presume this is about the doctors. I’m sorry, I was really hoping you would get some more beneficial help than this.
I don’t know what to say, what to suggest, apart from your MS nurses.
We really need a tardis, sometimes I so wish we could all get together over a coffee, and sort ourselves and the world out. And then I could give you a hug too.
    How are you today? xoxox

    • Oh if only we could really have a tardis, get everyone together in real life and maybe find a secluded island where we could all just run away to when we need it.
Thank you hunny, it’s a nice image to have. I’m….well I’ve been better but been worse too. I’ll survive.

  2. :-( I’m sorry hon, sometimes I think people get so used to saying the same thing because its easier than actually having to solve a situation.

  4. I’m sorry you didn’t get the help you needed. Have you considered seeing a different doctor? Some are much better than others at different things. Hugs xxx

    • I usually see a different one, she was easier to get into and thought I remembered her being much better than that about this sort of thing. I’ll have to get in to see Dr G he’s much nicer and actually listens….it means he always runs behind schedule but I’ll forgive him that when I know why. Thanks though hun :) xx
